Photos from Xuelong in Iceland
Photos from the Xuelongs visit in Iceland are now available online. The vessel was in Iceland for four days and many activities took place.

On Thursday 16th of August a welcome ceremony was held in the port of Reykjavík.
On Friday 17th of August the second China-Iceland symposium was held in the University of Iceland. The president of Iceland, mr. Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, and his wife ms. Dorrit Moussieff visited the Xuelong.
On Saturday 18th of August the Xuelong was open to the public in Reykjavík. Later that evening it set sail to Akureyri.
On Monday 20th of Augustan Arctic seminar was held in Hof culture house and the ship was also open to the public in Akureyri.

The Xuelong is now close to Jan Mayen, heading for the North Pole.
